Overview

We opened Birch & Alder in March of 2022 as a drive-thru, and we plan to offer dine-in service in spring 2023. Birch & Alder serves strong coffee and wholesome food for your journey south of Anchorage. We do drive-thru differently: think slow-food, served fast. We are a scratch kitchen, so everything is made in-house from our coffee syrups to our breads and pastries baked fresh daily. We source as many ingredients as we can from Alaskan producers and foragers. Zero plastic goes through our window, we use only compostable options that are better for the environment. For now we're just a drive thru, and we can't wait to welcome you for inside dining soon.
